We picked up a solid, hard fought road victory tonight against Black Hills State, 68-57. It was a defensive battle in the first half, as we trailed by one point, 26-25. But, our poise came through in the 2nd half and we were able to come away with the victory.
Four of our senior starters led the way in this game:
Jake Holen had 22 points, while going 5-9 from the 3-point line.
Ryan Thompson (Sr.) had 11 points and 3 assists, Jordan Olson had 13 points and 7 rebounds and Kyle Iverson had 11 points and 5 rebounds.
We also had great contributions from our bench, as Andy Bachmeier had 6 rebounds (3 offensive) and 2 assists, Evan Savageau had 3 points and 2 rebounds and some solid defensive stops. Luke Lorenz also added 4 points.
We now take on South Dakota Tech tomorrow night at 6:00pm in Rapid City, SD.
