Jamestown Wins Holiday Classic!
Our program experienced yet another Championship Game victory, after beating the home team University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire last night, 85-76 on their home floor.
This is our second tournament championship this season, as we also won the Northwestern College (MN) tournament in mid-November.
Senior Jake Holen led the way for the Jimmies, as he scored 31 points on 8-12 shooting (4-7 3pt FG and 11-12 from the FT Line). He was also named tournament MVP!
Senior Kyle Iverson added 9 points and 6 rebounds, and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Sophomore John Peabody was given the "Fireman Award" by the tournament committee, for his work as the best "Non-Starter" of the tournament.
Our team now holds a 10-5 overall record.
Happy New Year!
